Knitting by Blind Faith

About Me

I live in South Florida with RAM (Radio Active Man), my husband of nearly five years. We share our home with my dog guide, Joy, a chihuahua named Peace, and Independence, the cat. I come from a long line of knitters, but have only taken up the craft in earnest in the last year or two…and, I’m LOVING it.

My husband has said I’m addicted to knitting. I beg to differ. Just because I take my knitting to work with me and eat lunch on a break, just so I can spend my whole lunch hour knitting (eating is such a waste of time), does *not* make me an addict. Or just because I pick up a pair of needles as soon as I walk in the front door after two hours of knitting with the girls at Knit Night, does *not* make me an addict. After all, it’s a whole half mile from my house to Knit Night. With the traffic, that’s like a whole two minutes in the car in which I can’t knit because there just isn’t enough time to pull out the project.

I am also a Christian and believe that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. I believe that God is good, and He cares for us so much that every hair on our heads is numbered. He is mindful of all of our needs, even to the point of blessing me with lots of knitting friends.

See, it all comes back to knitting!

Came over to visit from Abigail’s blog this morning. Welcome to the big Knit party on the Net! With Abigail to back you up, you will certainly go far! And it seems that God helps us to find each other on the Net as well, not just to be there for each other when knitting but for the rest of our lives as well. Welcome!

I LOVE HEARING ABOUT OTHER TRUE BELIEVERS WHO ENJOY KNITTING. I AM NEWLY RETIRED AND MOVED TO A MANIFACTURED PARK. I HAVE NOT FIND ANY OTHER GROUP WHO ENJOYING KNITTING. SOMETIMES I WOULD CONSIDER MY SELF AS BEING A FREE PATTERN COLLECTOR. IT WILL TAKE ME THE REST OF MY LIFE TO USE UP PATTERNS AND YARNS TO USE ALL UP BEFORE I GO HOME TO JESUS. MY MOM JUST TO HER FINAL TRIP TO HEAVEN. I AM STILL IN MORNING BUT AM HAPPY FOR HER.
LOVE ALICE
