I Miss You Like Crazy

Statue of Opie and Andy

RAM has been in Raleigh, NC attending a conference for the past several days. This is only the second time we’ve been apart for more than one night during our marriage, and only the third time, period. The last time we were apart was when I went to get Joy, and we missed each other so much that he flew out to see me for the weekend after the first week of training.

Now, the shoe is on the other foot, and I am the one at home. I am blessed to have friends call and neighbors drop by during his absence. And although I am enjoying the quiet time, I am eager for him to come home tomorrow.

RAM has run into people that know me professionally at this conference. He told me that they all like the personal touch I bring to the table when helping them solve problems, as if they were my only customer. That kind of affirmation is a true reward and serves to remind me that God put me here to make a difference in the world. I am glad to be one of the instruments in His symphony.

I miss you too! I can’t wait to see you. :) The simple life of Mayberry just can’t compare to the comforts and company of home. RAM

I trust you are enjoying the last day of the weekend with eager anticipation along with the satisfaction of time apart from RAM well spent. (How’s that beautiful blanket coming along?)

How unique that RAM’S job intersects with yours in such a way that you have an opportunity to realize how you truly impact others!
