Some of you know that yesterday was my birthday, and today, I promised to blog all about it. I promise that that post is coming later today, but here’s the thing. Yesterday, I made the unthinkable mistake of–are you ready for this?–upgrading my antivirus software. Now, my antivirus software won’t fully open, and yet will fully protect my computer, it seems. This means I can’t open or send any e-mail, which means I have to do everything through the web, which I hate.
I know what you’re thinking. Yes, I should have known better. It would have been much better to just take the renewed subscription and forget the upgrade. But the upgrade was FREE! How could anyone pass that up?
Do you know what the irony is? I help solve other people’s computer problems all day long for a living. Now, on my day off, I am blogging at the time I normally roll out of bed to go to work, and I’m neck deep in my own computer mess. Can you say, “Doctor, heal thyself”?
Worst case scenario, there is always System Restore… (I hope, anyway…)
