The Hat Is Finished!!!

Well, my very first hat is finally finished!

Stockinette hat in variegated pink to lavender yarn with a 1-inch band of seed stitch around the bottom of the brim and an i-cord knot at the top

What do you think?

Abigail made the matching sweater.

Matching baby cardigan with seed stitch trim

Isn’t it sweet?

My family, who is in town for a few days, will take these back with them for my little niece. I will have a pair of matching booties done by then, too. Next is a matching pair of baby bell bottom pants, which will follow by mail.

This kid will be the best and most lovingly dressed kid around!

Oh, and there’s a present for Mom, too. These little gems are all machine washable! A first-time mom always appreciates that.

Congratulations on finishing the hat! It is beautiful! That child is certainly blessed to have such love and talent as yours in the family.

I missed seeing you this week but knew you were enjoying your time with family. I continue to rejoice with you as you enjoy your loved ones.

Thanks for the post in the midst of all your activities. It gives great pleasure to see your success.

Blessings,
Donna
